Plasma treatment in packaging industry is increasingly used to get better adhesion between different materials like plastics. Demanding plasma technology is necessary to meet the high cycle times or belt speeds in the manufacture of packaging. As pretreatment before printing and gluing of plastics such as PP, PE or recycling materials, plasma pretreatment creates a cost-effective and environmentally friendly alternative to primers.
