Influence of the β- Radiation / Cold Atmospheric-Pressure Plasma
One of the most common applications of cold plasma is the activation of polyolefines, such as polypropylene (PP) prior to an adhesive process.
Plasma technology from relyon plasma helps you to get an improved wettability, adhesion and surface energy of different materials like glass, metal or plastics. A lot of surfaces have to be treated with plasma before bonding, printing, varnishing or glueing. The goal of plasma treatment is the superfinecleaning of the surface and the activation of the surface so that the surface energy is higher than the base level.
Cold atmospheric pressure plasmas are now being widely used for many types of surface disinfection and sterilization. Despite the wide area of applications and high demand for new effective treatments, the understanding of interactions of plasmas with living cells and tissue remains rather limited.
