Paint stripping and cleaning with plasma is possible with the high performance system plasmabrush® PB3 of relyon plasma.
Surface treatment with plasma before varnishing improves the adhesion of paints and varnishes to surfaces and thus improves the quality of coating and varnishing. Many components are made of materials such as metals, glass, ceramics and even natural materials such as wood and textiles, whose surfaces are very difficult to varnish. During plasma pretreatment before varnishing, the components are cleaned with atmospheric plasma for better adhesion on the one hand and functionalized on the other. As a result, many polymers with typical non-stick surfaces can then be successfully coated. This process also enables solvent-free coating. The result is a uniform and faultless varnish that has been produced using an environmentally friendly process.
