From 27 to 30 January 2025, relyon plasma will be presenting advanced plasma technology for the medical sector at Arab Health 2025 in Dubai. At stand Z3.E31 in hall 3, relyon plasma will be presenting a broad product portfolio for innovative applications in the medical field with the PiezoBrush PZ3 handheld plasma device, the PiezoBrush exchangeable modules for specific applications and the MediPlas system. The PiezoBrush PZ3 is particularly suitable for use in laboratories, manual assembly of small batches and, with the technologically identical PiezoBrush PZ3-i integration solution, for installation in automated systems.

RONS generator for integrating medical devices

With the development of the MediPlas, relyon plasma has opened up a completely new field for manufacturers in the medical sector: the integration of a flexible generator of reactive oxygen and nitrogen species (RONS) into medical devices.
relyon plasma GmbH has developed the MediPlas system over the past few years under strict medical standards. The system comprises a powerful generator for producing reactive oxygen and nitrogen species (RONS) and a specially tuned high-voltage generator. The chemical composition of the RONS, such as ozone compounds and nitrogen oxide acids, can be precisely controlled. This is made possible by selecting the process gas and adjusting other parameters such as gas flow, driver voltage and temperature control. This flexibility offers considerable advantages in disinfection and sterilisation, as it allows the settings to be optimally adapted to the customer’s requirements.

MediPlas-system for disinfection at Arab Health

The MediPlas-system is characterised by the ability to individually adjust all relevant parameters such as gas flow, power, frequency, duty cycle and temperature. This allows specific settings to be made for different microorganisms in order to achieve an optimum reduction in cell viability. Designed as a sub-system or individual components, the MediPlas Reactor and MediPlas Driver can be seamlessly integrated into existing customer products. The MediPlas-system can be used both as a stand-alone disinfection unit and as a supplement to existing disinfection solutions.
This flexibility enables numerous areas of application in medical disinfection.
