Module Nearfield is an exchange module for the PiezoBrush PZ3 plasma handheld device.

It is used for the treatment of conductive substrates such as:

  • Metal
  • Metal alloys
  • Conductive polymers
  • CFK (carbon fiber reinforced plastic)
  • Wood
  • Indium tin oxide (ITO)



The Module Nearfield of PiezoBrush PZ3 was developed especially for the treatment of electrically conductive substrates / materials such as metals or conductive polymers. Even partially conductive materials such as carbon fiber reinforced plastics (CFRP) should be treated with this exchangeable module.

The device can only produce a surface activation if there is an electrically conductive substrate in front of the device within the range of the permissible working distance. This is approx. 0.5 to 2.0 mm. If the distance is larger, plasma generation may not be possible depending on the material and shape of your substrate.
If too large a distance is selected, the device will automatically stop plasma generation after 5 seconds.

For the treatment of non-conductive materials we recommend the Module Standard.
